Peel off the banana and mash it up using a blender or simply a fork. Place the mashed banana along with the rest of the remaining ingredients into a bowl and mix well until they become uniform. Take a sufficient amount of the mixture and apply it all over the face gently. Let it sit for at least 20’ before rinsing off with lukewarm water. You may apply this mask as often as you wish.

Honey attracts, absorbs, and retains water in its molecules; thus, it will provide and maintain the necessary moisture on the skin. The banana will provide the epidermis with valuable nutrients such as vitamins, proteins, minerals, trace elements, etc. Cocoa, rich in flavonoids, will strengthen the skin’s resistance to UV radiation and enhance microcirculation, supporting cell nourishment and oxygenation. Finally, the 3 cosmetic oils will moisturize, revitalize, nourish, and enhance the skin thanks to their antioxidants. More specifically, avocado oil will provide the perfect anti-wrinkle protection; grape seed oil will restore the balance to the skin, also serving as the medium for optimal nutrient absorption; carrot oil will enhance the skin’s natural regeneration process and provide sun protection. Consequently, this mask will act as your ally against photo-aging, which causes degradation and destruction of collagen and elastin fibers, leading to premature aging and skin sagging. In fact, taking into consideration that environmental factors, especially solar radiation, are responsible for premature aging, then we can easily understand how valuable this mask is for our skin. That is why it is our favorite!

After enjoying your coffee, reserve the coffee grounds -it is important to remain fresh and moist- and place them into a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients to the same bowl and mix well until the mixture becomes uniform. Take a sufficient amount and apply to the desired areas. Wrap your body with plastic wrap and let it sit for 20′-30′. Finally, rinse off with plenty of lukewarm water. Once again, you may repeat the same process as often as desired.

Coffee contains caffeine, a strong fat-dissolving ingredient common in all slimming products, which helps to remove excess fluids, improves swelling, and reduces fat tissue. Cocoa, which also contains caffeine, will enhance the action of coffee. In addition, it will improve microcirculation in the skin, resulting in optimal nourishment and oxygenation of cells. As a result, it will enhance the production of collagen and elastin, thus tightening the body area. Cinnamon, thanks to its sweating properties, will help your skin to eliminate toxins. Finally, ivy and birch oils will help to reduce the volume of fat cells and release water, will also stimulating lymphatic circulation, contributing to detoxification and decongestion of the area.
