Carob tree oligopeptides (vegetable keratin)

In cosmetics, carob fruit extract is utilized. It contains proteins that are hydrolyzed to obtain smaller peptides (with 2-10 amino acids), specifically oligopeptides. These particles are small enough to penetrate the hair structure effectively. By mimicking keratin, the structural protein of hair, this extract helps to restore hair, increasing its strength and elasticity, while repairing damage caused by mechanical, thermal or chemical processes. Additionally, it provides moisture to both hair and scalp, reduces static electricity and facilitates combing.
